EXCUSES for why I’ve never been to St John's Gala

I Can't find a babysitter on time...

Start looking now! Lots of SJB families have 7th - 12th graders looking to make some cash. Ask around!

I'm new to the school and I don’t really know anybody...

Gala is a great way to change that! Let us know what grades your children are in and we’ll try to seat you together. There is a "group name" field in the registration. Just indicate what grade your kids are in and we will try to pair you with other parents. Also, consider signing up to volunteer! Send us a note at galachairs@benefitgala.info and we will find a job for you!  Volunteering is an amazing way to have the opportunity to talk and meet others.

Save the date now! Also, you can always have friends sit at your table in case your spouse ends up not being able to come.

I don’t know what it is...

This Benefit Gala is St. John the Baptist Catholic School's annual fund-raising event! While the theme changes from year to year, it's always a huge celebration filled with games, auctions, music, dancing...capped off with our $10,000 Grand Prize Raffle drawing.

I don’t like events with lots of people...

Just enjoy the dinner and the music! This event is a warm and accepting environment, recognizing we are all here for one reason- to support the educational experience of the children at our school.  Everyone has a great time and this year's event is no exception- especially with our special musical Dueling Piano performers!  Everything you donate in games, tickets, raffle goes to the benefit of the students at the school and others.


I don’t like getting dressed up and going to nice parties

While many attendees will elect for black tie, our theme is Mardi Gras; so lots of beads, green, gold, and purple colored attire are encouraged! 

Announcements:

Tickets are now on sale for all parties.

1) For parents of students at St John the Baptist Catholic School, invitations have been KidMailed through the school office on December 4th.  Don't lose your Invitation.  Put it in safe keeping until you decide to attend and buy tickets.  Raffle Tickets will be sent before Christmas to parents to help sell raffle tickets to friends and family during Christmas Break.  Filled out raffle tickets can be returned to the school office with payment via check or online payment on this website (Print the payment and attach to the raffle ticket to the printed payment).

2) Invitations were also be kidmailed on December 4th to Faculty and Staff of the School and Staff of the church. Put it in safe keeping until you decide to attend and buy tickets.

3) Postcard Invitations will also being sent the week of January 2nd through postal mail to St John's parish and Mercy parish members and a reminder for school parents.  You can still purchase tickets on Decemer 4th even before you receive an invitation. Note: We are using addresses as provided by St John's & Mercy Parishes on October 2024.

4) If you do not receive your invitation in a timely manner, you can still purchase admission even if you have not received the invitation starting December 4th.
